Salon Spa @ Pierre’s has always been a dream of mine. I love having a professional team of truly talented stylists. I thrive on the creativity, passion, and energy generated from our stylists. I love to try the latest looks on myself and my clients. With over 36 years of experience, I understand how important it is to stay on the cutting edge of your craft. Change is enviable; so that is why continued education is a must.  I created Pierre's  Advanced Acadmey, giving continuing education hours to professional hairdresser for the State Board of Ohio. I'm passionate about education. (Just ask my staff!) As a National Educator for John Paul Mitchells Systems, The Ohio Academy and MCC&TC. Educator for GK Hair Taming System.  I"ve always be able to  encouraging my stylists to take their skills to the next level and I try to do the same.

Haircolor and up-dos are what I am best at. The art of hairstyling to me is making someone look and feel their best. For me, being a stylist allows me to be an artist. I take time for a consultation with my client to understand their thoughts and feelings. In turn, I will provide my honest and professional opinion. Together we will create a look that reflects his or her unique individual personality while maintaining healthy hair. Strength and shine along with Paul Mitchell Systems, I can help you to achieve and maintain beautiful runway hair.

I consider myself not only an artist behind the chair but also outside of work. I am a painter and I enjoy drawing. Both influence the other and it helps keep my creative juices flowing.

I have extensive training with Paul Mitchell Systems in product, coloring, and cutting. My specialties include corrective coloring, blonding, salon-friendly high fashion cutting, and dimensional color.

I came back home to Ohio after an 18-year career as a hair stylist in South Florida. I have had the privilege over the last 6 years to work with some of the most educated and stylish professionals at Pierre’s. Not only is our salon accurate, it is also our home away from home.

Sherry Lee Thistlewait, Stylist

The best part of being a hairdresser is hearing my clients say “do what you want”. My clients have a fool proof plan to let me create when they arrive. When they leave my chair, they will be satisfied, happy, feeling and looking younger!  My education includes 6 years with an Aveda team, 3 years of Vidal Sasson. I specialize in make-up artistry and hair cutting. I love making women look and feel their best. Sharon Faull, Stylist

I grew up in Honduras, California where I first discovered my love for hair. As I learned how to cornrow, do up-dos, and eventually cut hair just by visualizing, I realized it could be used not only as a career, but also as a ministry. That is truly the desire of my heart – that God’s love and creativity would flow through my fingers and bless every person that sits in my chair.

My initial skills were self-taught by watching others and trying to be creative and not be afraid to try new things. In 2008 my formal training was completed at Scott Cole’s School with other training courses in Atlanta, Las Vegas, and Columbus.

In 2003 I graduated from Ford Beauty Academy with managing cosmetology license and then began my career as a stylist. I am a versatile stylist that can offer a variety of services from major extremes or I can keep it very simple. I appreciate good customer service so I make sure each and every one of my clients are taken care of through their entire salon experience.

With a high level of Paul Mitchell product knowledge, experience in haircutting, styling, hair color, and formal finish I can help advise my clients with various looks and styles to suit their occasion or lifestyle. One of my goals for myself is to travel yearly for education to follow latest trends and styles in the hair industry.

There is something to be said about creating a career out of something you truly love doing. I love my work and have been enjoying it for over 27 years. I take pride in what I do and make each and every client number one when they sit in my chair. I enjoy working with my clients to make sure they leave feeling their best.

I enjoy all aspects of hair styling though my specialties are extensive color techniques, texturizing thick hair, men’s cuts, and waxing. My educational background includes being licensed by Victor George Beauty Academy and have attended continuing education courses in New York, Chicago, and Las Vegas.

A professional cosmetologist for over 25 years. Licensed in the State of Ohio. Retained a client base in Cleveland for 25 years. Relocated to Youngstown and have had the pleasure of being a part of Pierre’s team since July 2006.

Jeannie is a National Educator/Color Educator for John Paul Mitchell Systems. Specializing in haircutting, coloring, long hair and Paul Mitchell product knowledge.

Past trainings include Martian Parsons in Toronto, advanced course, Pivot Point I & II in Chicago. Paul Mitchell Gatherings in Las Vegas and many, many more.

I believe in non-stop education until I take my last breath. I have a passion to connect with people and strong communication skills!

I have always had a passion for skin care and make-up and feel it is a priority to make my clients feel satisfied with their results. Prior to each service, I will provide a consultation to make sure my client’s needs are met. At Pierre’s, I will be performing customized facials, waxing, and make-up applications.

I graduated from Casals Aveda Institute receiving my esthetician license. I became licensed internationally for Paramedical Skin Care and Laser Hair Removal by taking continuing education courses in New York, NY.
